Hey, all!

Procrastinating from studying for finals (wheee for not wanting to get your work done!) Just got to take three exams and finish a paper, and then I'm home freeee! Is it just me or did this year pass by way too quickly? It's like you blink and then you're one year older and one year wiser (or maybe just older). xD Anyways, I'm just looking forward to the free time that'll come with summer.

Speaking of which...

I've never done a kiriban before, but I noticed how very close my counter is getting to 4k, which is so freakin' awesome! I'm so happy about all the lovely people that visit this gallery (even though I add stuff almost never). To say thanks to all of you, I'm holding a kiriban for the 4,000th viewer! Just take a screenshot and then PM me for a doll or picture (whichever you want!) Of course, I reserve the right to decide on complexity and/or size, but you can choose anything else!


I know this gallery has been soo slow, but look forward to more from me come summer vacation!

I just love learning new languages! I took French in high school (got up to AP French Language) and now I'm taking Chinese. In the future, I hope to learn Spanish, Arabic, Japanese, and Korean (among many others!)

So anyways, I was just browsing around DA, while procrastinating from homework, and I just never really thought about how many different languages are on this site! So for now, I want to compile a list of how to say 'Hello' and 'Goodbye' in as many languages as I can!

1. English: [Hello][Goodbye]
2. French: [Bonjour][Au revoir]
3. Chinese: [你好][再見]//[Ni hao][Zaijian]
4. Spanish: [Hola][Adios]
5. Hawaiian: [Aloha]

That's all I can think of right now, but I'd if anyone knows any others, I'd love to hear them! ^__^ If you know any other cool words in a cool language, feel free to share those as well.

For the longest time, I've had this huge desire to do a collab doll with someone. However, I'm too scared to ask anyone because I know some people don't like to do collabs/don't have time/etc. :'( So I'm taking the chicken way out and posting a request in my journal!

Here's some important information you should know before you respond to this:

- I plan on doing a pretty ambitious collab, so only apply if you have a good grasp of pixel art (this includes knowledge of lightsourcing, dithering, base editing, etc).

- I have always wanted to do one of those collabs when two people work on one base, so please only apply if you think our styles will mesh well together.

- I hate flakers, so if you have any doubt of your ability to complete this collab, please don't apply! I'd rather have no one apply than find someone, work hard on my half, then have the other person ditch out.

- The above being said, the time I have for dolling is quite limited, so you would have to be patient with me! I have never flaked out on a project, but my dolls normally take between 1-2 months to complete.

- Part of my reasoning for doing this is because I want to make more friends in the dolling community. I know I'm generally not that active, but I LOVE chatting with people and working together on things! So if you do this collab, you will *legasp* actually have to talk to me!


Hmmm...let's see how many people actually respond to this LAWLZ. Depending on how many responses I get, I'll devise a way to make a decision. I want to start chatting and throwing around ideas soon, though.

I found this list in someone's journal and thought it was really neat. Every once in a while I actually find myself with (*legasp* can it be?!) free time. Yet when I sit down to draw or doll something, I'm always sadly without any inspiration. Maybe this will help in that department a little bit haha.
